HANOI, August 06, 2025 – The Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region project, a key national transport infrastructure initiative, is accelerating with the goal of completing and technically opening its parallel roads to traffic before October 2025. The project is expected to create new development space, resolve traffic issues, and boost socio-economic growth for the entire Capital Region.

The project has a total length of approximately 113 km, passing through three provinces and cities: Hanoi (58.2 km), Hung Yen (19.3 km), and Bac Ninh (25.6 km). With a preliminary total investment of VND 85.8 trillion, the project is being implemented under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, combining state budget capital and private investment. This expressway ring road will serve as a backbone, connecting radial expressways, major urban areas, and industrial parks in the Northern Key Economic Region.
Since its groundbreaking in June 2023, site clearance and construction activities have been actively carried out by local authorities and contractors. The target of completing the parallel roads (urban roads) by the end of 2025 is not only a critical progress milestone but also holds significant meaning as a project to commemorate upcoming Party Congresses.
Upon completion, Ring Road 4 will help alleviate traffic pressure on inner-city routes and Ring Road 3, enhance inter-regional connectivity, reduce travel and freight transport times, and create strong momentum for the development of Hanoi and its neighboring provinces.
